SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (AP) ? Hospital officials say they have treated 39 people following a July Fourth fireworks explosion that rocked a community park northwest of Los Angeles.
Just three of the victims remained hospitalized Friday night, a day after the blast in Simi Valley, Calif.
Simi Valley Hospital President and CEO Kim Millstien says more than two dozen patients were taken to the community medical center, and two remained Friday night.
Another victim is still being treated by specialists at Grossman Burn Center in West Hills.
Authorities and the company that put on the fireworks show are investigating the cause of the explosion.
