Somewhere, over the ... cradle? Just in time for the "Wizard of Oz" prequel, "Oz the Great and Powerful," to open, former "Girls Next Door" star Holly Madison tells E! News that her baby daughter's colorful new name is Rainbow Aurora Rotella.?
Madison and Pasquale Rotella welcomed the baby March 5, but did not announce a name right away. Turns out the unusual name is one that Madison long remembered from her childhood.
"I wanted to give my daughter a unique name," Madison told E! "Growing up, there was a girl in my school named Rainbow and I was so envious of that name. I thought it was so pretty and unique!"
She's not the only celebrity mom to choose an unusual name recently. Rapper Wiz Khalifa and model Amber Rose chose Sebastian for their son, nicknaming him "Bash." Rocker Bryan Adams named his daughter Lula Rosylea, and her older sister is Mirabella Bunny.
Some celebs are being protective of the name, and even the gender, of their children. Comedian Steve Martin, 67, became a first-time dad in December, but nothing about the new arrival has been revealed. And "Harold and Kumar" star John Cho and his wife welcomed a baby girl this season, but they're keeping her name secret as well.
And while singer Adele hasn't formally said what she named her son, a photo of a necklace she wore as well as a tattoo behind her ear of the letter "A" led to some reports that his name is "Angelo."
